I went out this morning with the goal to get at least 5 miles of cycling in because of the possibility of a rain storm coming in. The possibility had me nearly about to put the entire ride off, but the desire to get in as much as I can before this challenge ends on July 31st fueled me to get out even if I would have gotten drenched. It ended up not raining, thankfully! After today’s ride I am currently 13.90 miles, as well as 4 days away from completing Strava – PowerDot Grand Tour, and Trek Century Challenge.
Added a new portion to my route! I will share more pictures of it the more I ride it.

i have to say your route looks like a syringe. made me laugh when i realized it!
I’ve rode & ran some weird looking ones. I always think of it as art in a way.
Some of my favorites were in Hawaii because the routes were very unorthodox, especially on the trails.
we walked around Oahu a lot the last time we were there.
Ten grand is a nice incentive to finish!
The things I would do if I won that. So many other riders though who may not of even rode like I did. That is the sucky part about these virtual rides & runs; people cheat!
It will be a relief to run more in August. I’m thankful to survive any ride in this crazy city where there are so many distractions and evil motives from others.
Guys I am so tempted to finish this up tonight. Depending on my mood after work on Tuesday I may finish this challenge, but if not then I will be finishing it on Wednesday. Very proud of my run & cycling mileage this month.
