I’ve lost my soul. I do not care enough to be angry any longer. If people want to destroy their own communities and steal from each other, I don’t care how police handle it any longer. I am not willing to fight for the rights of thugs and thieves. If they want to destroy their own communities let them live in burned-out communities. My compassion is gone. Don’t send money, food, and help. There is no reason. They created the situation with lawless behavior, live in the mess created.
There is no reason to pretend these people are seeking justice. Today I don’t have the energy, the will, or the desire to feel any compassion. I recall my father saying “You made your bed now lie in it.” I wouldn’t blame anyone who just chooses to walk away and never look back.
The United States is now the third world country, no better than any other lawless place. At this moment I see nothing to save. When human life and personal conduct has no value, what’s the point?
I feel the same. Like a third world country. A curfew is here now due to the violence and rioting. But we will get through this. One step at a time.
