For almost five minutes, the intersection becomes a sea of people a in a hurry to cross the boulevard as soon as possible. A common image for the Japanese capital, however. Even so, you rarely see someone elbowing, nervous passers-by, or hearing a rude word addressed to an inattentive passer-by. I wonder what this intersection looks like now.

There is a similar crossroads in the center of Madrid. You have the feeling that people are springing from the ground.
there is a crossing in Washington DC that has on one side, the area where the city buses stop. The middle has the area where the tourist buses stop. Lots of humans cross that street!
That is a great photo. Most of the intersections are very crowded in my hometown of NYC but of course during this time my friends in NY tell me things have quieted down.
