Another exotic fruit called mountain apple

In this critical time of lockdown and the risk of getting sick, I am trying to focus on some food that are not ordinarily available in the market. In the picture is Macopa that is called Mountain Apple but some people also call it Bell Fruit. But whatever they call it, the point is the taste that it is really exotic. There are varieties that have distinctive colors. Aside from the red variety, there’s also the green and some other colors.

It is sad to note that exotic fruits are vanishing especially in our tropical country. The main reason is the vanishing land that were formerly orchards but now are residential villages. Even the suburban towns are being converted into city that’s why the exotic fruits are quickly losing the war to progress.
