When the news about the Corona Virus Disease that we now call Covid-19 first erupted, the first item that went out of stock almost immediately is the face mask.
Since January of 2020 up to today, surgical masks are unavailable in the market. Then lately, even the washable face masks ran out as well.
Since there are no masks available in the market. Some people started to improvise. Some started a little business in making masks out of clothing materials.
My wife saw a video posted on Facebook on how to make a face mask using only a handkerchief and a couple of rubber bands.
This is what I’m wearing in this photo.

Since face maks are in scarcity in my country, the best option is to buy and use the customized ones.
I also use a handmade mask. I sang it daily with soap and then ironed it with warm iron.
Whatever works, stay safe my friend.
I made my own masks for myself and my family. My luck is that I had the right materials and it doesn’t take me more than 15 minutes to sew a mask. Stay safe!
That’s good. Some people also here make masks and sell them. At least they are selling them at a minimal price.
