Cement is a wonderful medium for expressing one’s creativity. It’s not just for heavy construction or making sidewalks or patios. You can make some interesting crafts for the home or garden using cement and a variety of moulds from items around the home. This cement hands candle holder can also double as a plant pot. The hands are made by reusing old rubber gloves. The base is cast from an aluminum baking pan. Paint and decorate to suit your taste. It is sure to be a conversation starter.
that is so creative, my wife does this with the families she works with (plaster of Paris not cement though).
Thanks. I am attempting to try the plaster of Paris but its so much more delicate than the concrete, not much luck yet, need more practice with it.
They actually sell kits on Amazon, you can create handprints and hand casts with children!
I’ll check it out. Thanks for the information.
I have a couple of these cement hand pots which I made for my succulents. I painted them white.
They are great for succulents.
This is beautiful and creative!
Thank you for your kind comment
