It is nature Tuesday and today I wanted to showcase one of the most beautiful trees of Asia – the Cassia Fistula. This is one tree that you could sit and watch all day long. The cascades of flowers waving in the breeze could set the mood for the day. It is hard for me to choose between the Cassia Fistula and the Java Cassia. The Java cassia has beautiful pink flowers like cherry blossom, but it doesn’t cascade down like the cassia fistula. I love the color of the Java Cassia but the cascading beauty of the cassia fistula is beauty beyond compare.
We have a street which is called the Golden Avenue, you guessed it, the cassia fistula tree lines both side of the street. It is an amazing experience to walk down this avenue in April when the trees are in bloom. These flowers announce the spring loud and clear. These trees are usually found in the wild and is home to many birds and animals.
