Chicago, Illinois (Edgewater neighborhood)
Nikon Coolpix P7700
The machine was in front of the Edgewater Antique Mall located at 6314 N Broadway St, Chicago, Illinois. I have no idea what it’s original purpose was.
Editing was done usign ACDSee Ultimate 2020. I rotated and cropped the image, I adjusted the white balance (temperature and tint) and the Light EQ. I increased the exposure +0.5 EV and increased the contrast, clarity and vibrance. Next I increased the saturation in the reds and blues and adjusted the levels.

I have no idea what might have been sold in this machine. Do you have any ideas? If so, put them in the comments.

Not sure what it is, but it looks really cool!
Thanks. It definitely the strangest coin operated machine that I have ever seen.
I think it would be funny if it were an atm machine.
That would be hysterical.
That is a really awesome and cute looking machine. It looks like something children would like so perhaps it was once full of colorful gumballs
I would love to know what was sold in this. How cool are the colors and design.
This is so cool looking. I visited this store when I lived in Edgewater. I remember getting lost in the old antiques
They do have a lot of interesting stuff in there. Their window displays are also interesting.
