The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will take place today between the Ohio Bobcats (6-6) and the Nevada Wolfpack (7-5) at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, ID.
Ohio has experienced a gut-wrenching season as four of their six losses were by three points or less. However, they turned their season around by scoring over fifty points in their last two regular season games. Nevada took two of the biggest gut-busting losses of the season (77-6 to Oregon, 54-3 to Hawaii) and bounced back to have a winning record.
Fortunately, the weather will be good even though this bowl game is in Idaho in January with a temperature in the high 40’s Fahrenheit. The main reason to watch this game is because of the blue football field.

Many of the games got rained on. i missed this one.
Surprisingly, the weather was good for this one. How could you miss the blue field? It’s the only reason to watch the Idaho Potato Bowl.
the game was exciting last night. The outcome not so good.
That game was a gut punch for Indiana. To lose after dominating the entire game was pretty bad. It was a choke by Indiana, but it was cool to see them in a bowl game once again. I remember watching Anthony Thompson as a kid when he was shredding people on the ground.
i was happy to see them in a bowl. Honestly less a gut punch and more a miracle. But i’ve heard that is like 1-300 times that has happened. Literally a miracle.
AT was fun to watch!
Odd. I lived in Idaho and didn’t know there was an Idaho Bowl.
The blue field is the draw. This bowl game has been around since the ’90’s. I try to watch it every year.
