Dragon fruit came to our country just a few decades ago. In the first few years in the market, no one was buying the dragon fruit because it was unknown. What the vendors did was to slice the dragon fruit to serve as sample to the potential buyers. That made the dragon fruit known to the public.
Since the dragon fruit grows in a tropical country, dragon fruit farms are now grow in in number in the country. Farmers say that the dragon fruit is so easy to grow. Just plant it with a trellis for the vine to climb and water it during summer. Even without fertilizer, the dragon fruit will bear good fruits.
