At Christmas it is a tradition to have King cake at home, but as this cake has candied fruit not everyone likes it. The other version of this cake is called Queen cake and everyone loves it in my house.
The Queen cake is made with nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, pine nuts and raisins. This year for the first time I did it at home (the one in the picture) and it is delicious.
I will bake another one on tuesday for Christmas night, homemade is always better.

I have never heard of it. I don’t eat raisins so it probably wouldn’t work for me. The rest of the family would love it.
