I love the way this bougainvillea blooms, there aren’t too many leaves visible in the plant. I have the same one at home, but in a container, the majesty and beauty of the plant can never be seen in a small container plant. There are only a few branches and flowers in the bougainvillea in my container garden.
This creeper is planted in the ground in our tiny park which we created on borrowed land from a huge landowner. The luxurious blooms on this vine is truly a visual treat. That doesn’t mean I cannot plant them in containers. They bloom only as much as their growing conditions allow them too. I admire them for their ability to overcome their environment and still bloom where they are planted.
I am glad that I can got to the park and still get my eye-full and soul full of these beauties everyday.

I love bougainvilleas, they remind me of my trips to Greece.
I have bougainvillea all over the place but this year they have not yet started blooming. They normally do by September.
Hmm I wonder why? I see all the bougainvilleas in bloom here.
It is the erratic weather. Bougainville hate rain.
These are beautiful flowers. Your garden must be beautiful.
Vidocka these are from the park , I have a small plant with few flowers.
I love bougainvillea flowers, thinking to plant them in my garden.
They bring so much color and brightness to the garden and serve as a fence too.
Wonderful flowers, dear Dawn
Thank you Lado, It is like a wall of flowers.
They really are wonderful, dear Dawn
