I love the photograph associated with this post. I have it hanging in my bedroom. I was originally in a sitting room and many of my friends found it unsettling. They felt that the horse looked angry and piercing.
I see a loyal companion that has spent hours showing me the secrets of mountains and always bringing me home to the home fires. I look at it and feel loved and protected.
It amazes me how much of our history colors the way we see things. Perspectives are very different and unless we actually talk about those differences and respect them for what they are, we will never really understand each other.

John Boyd (creator of the OODA Loop) taught us that the issue with Observation is always the orientation of the observer.
What different results? Change the orientation of the observation.
