Gary J Sibio
June Foray passed away on July 26, 2017 at the age of 99. You may not recognize her name but there’s a good chance you have heard her voice. She was the voice of Rocket J. Squirrel, better known as Rocky, and Natasha Fatale from the animated Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. She was also the voice of many other cartoon characters.

You remember. I wanted to work that into a question but couldn’t figure one out.
That’s funny – I didn’t know as much as I thought I might. … And followed by “and now here’s something you’ll really like”.
Bullwinkle would say, “Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.”
Rocky would then say, “That trick never works.”
Bullwinkle then pulled the lion’s head out of the hat and say, “I’ve got to get a new hat.”
Then Rocky would say, “Now here’s something you’ll really like” and they’d go into the next segment.
I remember watching reruns of this cool cartoon show but only got 3 correct!

It’s an American cartoon series. They were very successful because they had jokes for the kids and their parents.

2/10 – and one of those was about who wrote a certain opera, which I knew anyway! As you might have gathered, these characters mean absolutely nothing to me!
I’m surprised that the show doesn’t seem to have been shown outside of the USA. I think its humor would have translated very well, at least in other English-speaking countries.
