The Industrial Revolution changed the work situation for men and women.
The traditional role of the housewife persisted throughout the 19th century and well into the 20th. Women engaged primarily in domestic tasks such as child care. The advent of electric power near the close of the 19th century brought labour-saving devices. These innovations did little to lessen the amount of time she spent on household duties.
Women’s lack of access to higher education had effectively excluded them from the practice of well-paid occupations. Women were largely limited to low-paid occupations for most of the 19th and 20th centuries, or earned less pay than men for doing the same work.

Yes, I know the situation of women in history. I am employed and working online at the same time. In our country, gender equality is being observed.
I’ve quit and I am a SAHM.
