I people share content because it is a reflection of who they are. In other words, it says something about us (whether we are consciously aware of it or not). Sometimes we share helpful content because it makes us feel helpful (satisfying our need for self-actualization).
We also share emotional, attention-grabbing content, because it helps us to get noticed (satisfying our need for self-esteem). Sometimes we share opinionated content because we want to show everyone what groups we belong to (satisfying our need to belong).
When deciding what content to share, I agree with the experts, the headline says it all. The headline is what people notice first. It’s the headline that makes a piece of content stand out, get shared, and can potentially go viral.
I share things that interests me and hopefully will interest others as well.
Those are commendable and valid reasons. I researched several papers on why people write and some of what these experts say, I have included above. I obviously don’t agree with all of what they said.
I see what you did there talking about the headline makes a post going viral by putting a typo in the title.

Join, as many media sites as possible, i.e. see those ones above the comment section, under my logo? Join them, then add them to your profile page, next, when you write your post, make sure to post your link on them. That is one of three strategies, NOT ILLEGAL TRICKS!!!! as it is alleged I’m doing here, Doc Andersen, as a technical expert, will confirm this. Finally, only because you have not accused me outright, of applying shady tricks, I will share this with you, It is really quite hard to condense a 3-hour course into a few minutes and that is the only reason I suggested, that, if enough people genuinely were interested to learn more, I will make a FREE abridged video version. No one cared, so I did not make it, and that is that. Now, there are a few writers, whom I used to respect before, making blind accusations about my legitimacy.
