When the dog plays

It’s nice to see the dog playing by himself. We give our dog a ball and he would play with it, biting and grabbing with the paw like the ball is alive. But after sometime the dog would stop and gasp for breath. That is always the case with our dogs especially the pug in the picture.

He enjoys playing but we cannot let him play forever otherwise he may get sick. Animals can also die of exhaustion. That is the reason why we have him in the cage.
