Love ItLove It

When, if not now; where, if not here?

When I’m sad, I try to think about good things and stop worrying about what I don’t have. There are so many beautiful little things around and if I focus on them, the next day there will be even more filled with them.

Today I am grateful for: a stroll, given hope, hug, a new dress, encouragement, friend’s call, delicious lasagna for dinner…

Life is short, so enjoy every bright moment and forget the dark minutes as quickly as they are not worth having the place in our minds. The amazing thing is, you don’t have to wait for a moment to start enjoying life, you can do it right now.

The world is somehow cold, take up and light a fire in it, let it warms up: be so happy that when others look at you, they would become happy as well; tell others about your dreams as your greatest treasures; laugh out loud, so that the laughter reaches over the grieving ones and heals their sorrows; love as strong as you can, so that even on a cloudy winter morning, your soul would be warm and cozy.

As Henry David Thoreau put it, “You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment…” So, stop worrying about what will happen tomorrow, forgive yourself for the failures of the past, and start doing what you longed for. I love to say: when, if not now, where, if not here?
