Anarkali the most fictitious courtesan born supposedly as Nadira Begum is found in history books.
While at school we had this lesson about this lady who had an illicit relationship with the then crown prince Jehangir. And as a punishment she was buried alive building a wall around here brick by brick until she was fully enclosed
I have seen this movie with tears in my eyes little knowing that this was fiction. To top it all there is a real tomb in her memory!!!!

Wonder what else is there in history, fiction taking a factual turn.

I don’t know this story, dear Grace
But there could be others about which you may be aware.
I have heard and read that she was taken out of that wall by the king himself and sent to some unknown place.
Several stories do the rounds and that which is juicy stays (lol)
Sometimes life is stranger than fiction. A tomb for a fictitious character ?
That is the sad story when fiction is forgotten and over a period of time it gets a factual turn
