Pixabay is my go-to site for royalty free images. Since I write on a few sites, I usually visit the site almost daily to get high resolution pictures for use.
However, I have noticed that quite a number of the images on the site come with the .webp extension, which is rejected by most sites.
There are times I have to download a few images, then delete them because they come with the .webp extension and not the widely accepted jpg.

Thanks. This will be immensely helpful.
What Doc said, that does work. 🙂
Yeah, it will be helpful. Thanks
That happens sometimes when I try to save the photo by clicking on it directly. If I use the “free download” button, it gets saved as .jpeg without a problem.
Never tried that. Will check it out. Thanks.
when saving the same, (if it comes up web or png) you can simply type
mynewpicture.jpeg and it should convert it automatically to the format you want.
This is great! Thanks. I’ll try this
happy to help in anyway I can!
