For months a list was being made of the various odd jobs that needed to be done by a carpenter. Getting a carpenter to do odd jobs is not easy around here. Finally thanks to our gardener he recommended one and he turned out to be a great carpenter.
The list was big. Apart from the cot that needed a makeover most of the jobs were in the kitchen. The cabinet doors had turned loose – some had even come off. The TV cabinet required repairs, the pantry window, the kitchen ventilator window need to be replaced……………..
It was such a joy to see everything in its place – as good as new. Hats off to this guy.

I do not make repairs because the apartment I live in is rented. This is the concern of the owner
Even then are the repairs attended to promptly? After all you have to live there.
I would like to explain this better. I have a great handyman, but, there are things he cannot do and then to find someone else that I do not know and does not know me is very hard to find.
My trick was to give him a job that got him money – that makeover of the cot and then added all these small jobs. No other way.
After my late husband died someone heard I needed this type of help. He took what I could afford.
As long as he did what you asked him to that must have given you relief.
