Three Pillars of Health

Whenever I speak with my doctor the conversation all comes back to the three pillars of health. It seems like back to the basics is often the answer to a promising future.

What are the pillars we talk about? Exercise, Sleep and Fuel are the topics. The first thing most people say when this conversations comes up is what not say food? The perception between fuel and food are very different. If you think of what you consume as fuel you shift. You want good things to fuel your body. You wouldn’t put bad fuel in your car, why would you put bad fuel in your body?

Here is my rule of thumb. If I am not feeling well. I check the three pillars and make adjustments. If I am not feeling well after making adjustments for three days then I might consider a visit to the doctor.
