I was no good in stitching and in the good old days an uneven hemline was never accepted and I was made to rip off what I had done several times. The needlework class was torture for me.
And now the uneven hemline has become trendy. The trendsetters work hard towards getting that hemline which I got naturally and that was fully rejected. The nun who rejected my work must be turning in her grave and apologising for the treatment she meted out to me (lol)
Let me confess I will never wear something that has an uneven hemline which I consider as bad stitching What are the trendsetters up to? I sometimes wonder. They have even given it a name – handkerchief skirt!!

The skirt looks interesting, I like it. However, I rarely wear skirts.
I do not see any fashion in that funny looking skirt (lol)
I don’t look at what the trends are. It’s important to me that I feel good in my clothes.
Same here. And I do not see any fashion in these odd looking clothes.
