The stroke that didn’t kill

We call her Mamu, that’s my mother-in-law. She was hit by a stroke that rendered her body paralyzed on the right side. After a few weeks she lost her speech. That was a sad condition that she has been enduring for many years now. The therapist couldn’t do anything and even the doctors said they cannot cure her anymore.

Now Mamu is in a vegetative state. She is bed-ridden but she eats well with the help of the spoon. There is a caregiver attending to her 24/7. I hope her misery would end but that is up to God.
