The lame duckling

In the nearby farm I saw a duckling that was having difficulty in moving. It was lame with one foot having a problem. The owner said that it was chased by a cat. Fortunately there was someone who saw it and prevented the attack.

I pity an animal that is injured. Maybe even if it is a lion that is lame then I would not be scared albeit I would pity that animal. But in this material world life is fragile. In an instant you can be injured and worse the injury can be fatal. That is why I want to enjoy life as much as I can.
