The chili plant

It is like the chili plant is growing in our backyard by itself. What I mean is that we do not plant it although we just throw the seeds. Obviously the seeds that were not eaten by birds had germinated and grew to bear fruits. It is nice to see them growing just like that. They seem to not be needing any care from me.

A friend who visited our home harvested a cupful of red chili. He was surprised that the plants are around our house and they are fruiting heavily. Maybe it is the soil because I have seen so many earthworms here.
