Today happens to be my husbands birthday and this evening we have our neighborhood Thanksgiving Party. It is a meet a greet with hot appetizers and cold desserts. There will people there of all ages and we try and make enough things so everyone finds something they can try and it feels like Thanksgiving.
I am busy making sweet potatoes rounds. I will have them all ready to pop on the grill and I will “dress” as we go. I think I have settled on 5 different toppings this year for those items.
There are sugar cookies baking so the children will have something to decorate and have some fun with. Avocado Brownies are mixed up and ready to do in the oven after all the cookies get baked. That should be an addition to the tables. He like to cook, so he may add some items when I get out of the kitchen.
So today we celebrate Thanksgiving One.
