For people who are prone to tension headaches winter time can be a problem. Many report an increase of these headaches in the winter season. Here are a few ideas to try if you, or someone you know has this issue.
Spice it up
European studies published that adding 1/2 TBS of both of these spices in your coffee, tea or food can reduce inflammation and headaches by 50%. So perhaps it is time to purchase these two spices ground ginger and coriander.
Drink Water
Many headaches are simply a symptom of dehydration. Drink water. I personally do better if I put a slice of cucumber in mine.
Massage
This is one that I would enjoy even if I didn’t have a headache. A firm masage of neck and shoulder muscles with diluted Juniper oil for just 5 minutes offers some comfort and relief of pain.
