Sweet potato

The sweet potato is very common in tropical countries. It is a vine that crawls on the ground. No need for trellis, the vegetable just grows and even develops more roots as it grows. In about 3 months, the roots would have the tuber that is called the sweet potato which can be considered a vegetable to be included in dishes or it can be a snack food.

Another benefit of the sweet potato is the vine itself. The young leaves are vegetable material that can be an ingredient in vegetable dishes. It can also be eaten when blanched or boiled. For cold countries, the sweet potato is an alien plant.
