It is not the highway but the main avenue that I will be talking about. During the rainy season it is the usual potholes that pester the motorists. When we had our first car we couldn’t drive faster than 40 kilometers per hour for hitting a deep pothole on the road can cause an accident. Being careful on the road is imperative even if it adds to the travel time.
But things have changed since the cities and towns have been assigned to maintain the main roads. Avenues are now paved regularly although it takes some weeks during the rainy season. But at least we have better roads now.

we have the same problem. It is a universal thing sadly
Potholes are very very bad. I hate them and they need to be fixed but are not so I try to avoid them with my scooter and I go boom on them.
