Smoker are high risk patients of covid

The corona virus focuses on the lungs of the patient that it is fatal when the body’s immunity wouldn’t fight off the virus. They say that it happens when the patients has weak lungs particularly if he is a smoker. I think that is logical since a smoker has weaker lungs than a non-smoker. But that doesn’t absolve the non-smoker from the disease.

I am happy that I was able to quit smoking some 10 years ago. Now I am free from nicotine and I feel that my lungs are strong. I just hope that I wouldn’t be infected by the corona virus.
