Say “cheese” for the camera

In the olden days, when the camera is ready to click, the photographer would urge the subjects to “say cheese” in order to have a semblance of smile. A camera shot was expensive so it should not be wasted by taking a picture in a bad pose or with an unpleasant facial expression.

Thanks to the digital technology that almost everyone has a cellphone with a camera. Taking pictures is a breeze and there is even no need to say cheese. Candid shots are the preferred now that it is very common to take a series of shots when using the cellphone. As they say, picture is cheap so why pose for the camera. Give it a candid face.
