Sanitation is everyone’s concern now

One benefit that the covid-19 virus gave us is awareness of sanitation. Where before we do not mind the litter on the street and the rotting garbage in the street corner, now people are cleaning their surroundings including the front of their homes. It seems that the broom and dust pan are getting good sales.

The virus is dirt, according to the eyes of the common man so they think that if the surroundings is clean then they cannot be contaminated by the virus. Most people I see on the road are wearing face mask wether they are going somewhere or just sweeping the front of their house. I guess that is a good sign to at least control the spread of the virus.
