Reptile for luck

This is the first time I’ve heard that reptile attracts luck. Some places have displays of reptile figures for that purpose. The logic is that reptiles are quiet creatures who are in their den most of the time and only goes out to find food. In other words, they are not intruding into man’s domain which, in terms of the universal law, the reptile can co-exist peacefully.

But whatever it is they say, the reptile is a scary animal maybe because of the crocodile and alligator that are portrayed to be wild and ferocious. They pose danger to humans. How about the big snakes like the anaconda and boa that can eat a child. So many negative notes about reptiles so I guess I would not agree that it will attract luck.
