Public buses are here again

After the strict lockdown was lifted the buses are back on the road. I saw the plastic sheets that serve as divider in the interior of the bus. The segregation is okay but the questionable thing is the seat which are so close to each other. In the row with 3 adjoining seats the middle is empty with an X. But the gap between the 2 seats on the sides of the X is not 1 meter.

I hope the buses will not be an instrument to spread the virus. I am discouraged by what I saw and I am not confident that bus riders will be safe from contamination.

  • Do you ride in the public bus?

    • Yes
    • No
    • only when the car is out

  1. They are very strict on our buses. The twins often ride the bus to work, (not currently but did) when they were packed. I had to go get my car at the shop Saturday and rode the bus (my poor wife was working). there were marked empty rows and seats but you are right tit wasn’t 6 feet apart.
