Pressure Points

I never thought that a serious injury to end up being a Godsend. In retrospect it was truly a blessing. Learning about pressure points has been so helpful when it comes to managing pain. I would have never learned it if I hadn’t been injured and gone to physical therapy.

Now when I have pain the first thing I do is find the pressure points and work that area.  For example if my lower leg hurts the pressure points just below my knee are the ones that I can work. You can find many pressure point charts on line.  You don’t have to be an expert to make it work in your own life. You just need to practice so you can quickly find it.

Any muscle relaxing topical ointments should simply be applied to the pressure points with self massage and it doesn’t take long to see how quickly it can help dull the pain.
