Our Okra's First Produce

During the quarantine period. My wife and I cleared our front yard and she planted some okra or ladies’ fingers plants.

Perhaps it took more or less a month since the pants started to produce their fruits. The first one that we harvested last week was about 5-6 inches long. Some of the plants still have to start bearing fruits. But for the two plants that already bears, the fruits are quite big. We get about two to three fruits every two or three days.

The slimy vegetables are great in soup or simply steamed. Usually, we just put on top of the nearly cooked rice.
