In the rural areas the most common meal you will find is the combination of fish and vegetables. It is like healthy eating but not really for the health but more on the budget. Rural folks are used to eating that staple of rice, fish and vegetables.
In the city we also have that kind of native meal but not always. The most I can remember is to have fish and vegetables about once every 2 weeks. We are meat eaters so it is more of the pork, chicken and beef for us.

I am a fish and shellfish eater but the price of fish has risen greatly the best I can do is tuna fish in a can. One of my favorites is catfish fillet and that is $7.99 a pound while the chicken is $3.18.
The fish looks really good. I need to eat more rice
