Nuclear family v/s Joint family

Joint families are now a thing of the past. Only 1 of the 20 families are joint families and the rest are nuclear or isolated families. Both of these have their own pros and cons.

Joint family means increased support from the family members. In cases of need and adversity, you have a lot many helping hands. But, this also calls for more workload, restrictions, and family responsibilities.

On the other hand,  nuclear family allows a liberal and free lifestyle. But the main drawback is that you have to manage everything single-handedly.
