If not for those thorns, Bougainvillea could easily be used as bridal bouquets. The clusters come in different shapes. What you see in the photo could easily be described as a bridal bouquet.
This white bougainvillea is in fact a prop that I had planted supporting another plant. The prop came to life with these beautiful blooms.
Bougainvillea are summer flowers. The garden is packed with bougainvillea as it is summer here. They came in a bit late as they normally show up at the end of the monsoon season.
