When you get married later in life and meet your stepsons as adults it is a different kind of challenge. They has mixed emotions even though the divorce happend long ago and their mother had married and divorced twice since then.
My husband and I came from very different backgrounds and there is a 12 year age gap. Although he spent much of his young life in California, his Oklahoma roots define him.
