No public transport in the village

In consonance with the strict quarantine rules our village implemented its own ban of public transport. It is the motorized tricycle and pedicab which are both not allowed to ply the streets. People have to walk from the village gate to their homes if they have no car or other vehicle. That is the sacrifice that we have to make.

Now that there was another 2-week lockdown the village officers decided not to ban the public transport. The drivers have no way to earn their livelihood. At least now those drivers are earning their keep.
