Just for fun, I collected the seeds of the lemon that I used for the steak that we had for dinner last month. After drying the seeds for some days, I planted it in a pot as the seedling bed. Watering it every day, I did not expect it to sprout but there it is, the seeds have sprouted with the seedlings.
It is rewarding when my plants have some development to show. Like the fruit trees when they bear flowers, it is anticipated that fruits will follow. And when the fruits come out then the harvest is the next stage. Gardening is truly a rewarding hobby that I recommend to friends who have nothing to do at home. Just watering the plants is already a good exercise.

Awe, congratulations Alex. I don’t have a lemon, but the next door neighbor has a huge Meyer’s Lemon tree, that produces enough for the whole neighborhood. I wish yours the best of luck, and keep us updated!
that is a fun experience – sometimes we just have to try and plant the seeds we find. you never know when it will work!
