Because of the deep pruning of this bougainvillea – Mary Palmer it has only now bloomed Normally Bougains show up soon after the rainy season. But this time there has been a delay and this bloom came much later.
Mary Palmer bougainvillea is special in that they have variegated leaves and also the blooms come in two colours – pink and white. This bloom shows only the pink perhaps nature has interfered.
We depend on bougainvillea to colour our garden. We have planted them all over the place.

You have some pretty blooms on that one. I wonder what happed to the white blooms? It may be confused. Mother Nature has been a bit confused with the weather lately!
