I can’t even imagine what it would be like to live knowing that exposure to sunlight can be lethal. In my head I hear “Well, I can never go out in the sun and I have to live in a house that keeps me safe, but really I am not a freak.” I understand why a girl who has this issue might want to keep it to herself.
