Today, I would like to share my breakfast meal “Makki ki Roti & Sarson ka Saag” with my Virily family. I eat it daily these days. If you ever happen to be in Punjab(India), do try it once. Make sure you visit during winter. You will get proper seasonal Sarson ka Saag (Mustard Leaf). But fear not, if you don’t have access to it, you can have Makki ki Roti (Bread of Maize) with any of these things such as Butter, Raw Cane Sugar, Split Black Gram, and Bengal Gram cooked together, Turnips, Radish Greens, and Cooked Spinach.
I suggest you put some creamy white homemade butter while having this meal, grab a big glass of lassi, have some green chilly and onion in your plate. You will never regret tasting all this. My salivary glands are already bursting although I had all this at breakfast.
