Living alone with a pet

Most of the seniors here have their pet for companion. They say that it is not really lonely to live alone when you have a pet because an animal can be considered family. A cat or a dog are the most common pets because they can be held or carried and some pet owners are even sleeping with their pets right on the bed. That is clearly companionship that you cannot just get from anyone.
