You hear it a lot. Often people say that it is better to give than receive. If you go to an nontraditional bible (not the King James Version) It is said to be scripture. It does sound like something Jesus may have said it. Does it sound that way to you?
I love asking children about things because many times their perception is very different than mine. When I went to the school to read to the children I asked them the question “Is it better to give than receive?”
Tristen gave the best answer I think. “Yes, because when you give something you are done. You don’t even have to send a thank you card.”
