The image was inspired by the late 1960s psychedelic band, Iron Butterfly, best known for the song “In-a-Gadda-da-Vida,” supposedly a reference to “In the Garden of Eden.” They had several albums but never enjoyed the success they had with that song.

I don’t know the band and the song, the designer is great.
It’s an older song. It came out around 1967 or 1968.
Love that photo butterfly
Thanks, Jasmine. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
They have a Psych fest every summer in Rockford.
Im collecting butterfly as pets
I didn’t know that. I’ll have to check it out.
I am sorry to say that I do not know that song or that band. But that piece is supernatural indeed, very well executed and a real piece of art showcase.
Thanks, HistoryGal. If you have about 18 minutes to kill sometime, look up the song on YouTube.
An awesome design. I have not listened to a lot of Iron Butterfly but of course, I really like that song and I know it is about a garden.
Thanks. After they released it they did a couple of other albums including a live one but they just disappeared off the face of the planet.
Wow this is breathtaking Gary. I have heard the band and song but not in a very long time.
Thanks, Carol. I appreciate it. I used to blast the record when I was in high school.
