Perhaps you’ve heard of her? Maybe you have read of her, you know, Sam’s mom? The mom whose record of earnestly praying for a child is set before us today as an example of significant faith that God honored.
The chronicle of Hannah’s life is full of important lessons for all women, and especially for anyone in the throes of suffering. To gain the most from her experiences we must first understand the times she lived in, the context of her culture, and the relationship with God that she could count on because of the faith He had given her.
